Catherine Kirchner holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Swiss law, both from the University of Fribourg. She completed an additional specialisation in European law and studied bilingually (French/German) throughout her studies. She also completed a semester of study in London at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies.
After graduation, she worked for four years at the University of Lausanne as a graduate assistant at the Centre for Private Law, with a focus on consumer law. At the same time she wrote a doctoral thesis on the legal aspects of the impact of new technologies on the environment.
Catherine Kirchner began her traineeship with NEXUS in March 2023. She works in French, English, German and Russian.
